About the photographer

Philip Richard

Born in a small and quiet city of the south-east of France;
as a teenager I had two passions: the Universe and Colors,
which I then satisfied through astronomy and photography.

The first passion conducted me to an aerospace professional life.

The second one conducted me .... here...  after many years and experiences in photo shooting.

My photographic approach

“Thinking out of the Box” has been part of the game in my professional life.

With photography I often felt constrained by the limits of the standard photographic frame,
this is why, as soon as the solution was technically available, I naturally moved to high definition digital panoramas with the hope of better expressing the breadth, strength, beauty, magic of the universe around us.

Some sort of “Shooting out of the Frame” to revive the visual and mental impressions felt in front of our Mother Earth wonders.

My inspirations

Some great photographers who impress and inspire me:

   Michael Fatali

   Art Wolfe

   Murray Fredericks

   Ernst Haas
